What you will do

• Design and build shared backend services and APIs used across multiple systems.
• Define service boundaries, contracts, and data models using DDD principles.
• Own the full SDLC from design and development to deployment and iteration.
• Ensure services are scalable, reliable, and reusable to reduce system duplication.
• Use AI tools to accelerate development and maintain high code quality.
• Balance delivery speed with long-term maintainability and extensibility.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong backend expertise and experience with service-oriented or distributed systems.
• Proficiency in designing complex domains and using Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience deploying applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Deep experience with AI coding tools integrated into the daily workflow.
• Authorized to work in the US without restriction.

Nice to have

• Experience with IaC (Terraform) and modern DevOps/CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of API design (REST, GraphQL) and messaging systems (Kafka, SQS).
• Experience with Event sourcing, CQRS patterns, and SQL/NoSQL data modeling.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Golang, or Rust.
