What you will do

• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for select client accounts within the industrials sector.
• Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to meet client expectations and business goals.
• Write and edit high-quality materials including memos, press releases, presentations, and media pitches.
• Counsel clients on industry, company, and market developments to manage public perception.
• Lead and mentor account teams, managing resource allocation and ensuring quality deliverables.
• Participate in new business development through proposals and identifying value-add opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, political science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in a communications agency, corporate environment, or government.
• Superior skills in public policy, writing, editing, and research.
• Proven track record of building professional networks and securing media coverage for clients.
• Authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis (no visa sponsorship).
• Ability to travel to offices and client sites as required.

Nice to have

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 and AI/LLM tools.
• Experience in the industrials sector (chemicals, manufacturing, aerospace and defense).
• Familiarity with media monitoring tools like Factiva, Cision, Brandwatch, or Talkwalker.
• Knowledge of the Associated Press Stylebook.
