What you will do
- Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for select client accounts within the industrials sector.
- Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to meet client expectations and business goals.
- Write and edit high-quality materials including memos, press releases, presentations, and media pitches.
- Counsel clients on industry, company, and market developments to manage public perception.
- Lead and mentor account teams, managing resource allocation and ensuring quality deliverables.
- Participate in new business development through proposals and identifying value-add opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, political science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in a communications agency, corporate environment, or government.
- Superior skills in public policy, writing, editing, and research.
- Proven track record of building professional networks and securing media coverage for clients.
- Authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis (no visa sponsorship).
- Ability to travel to offices and client sites as required.
Nice to have
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 and AI/LLM tools.
- Experience in the industrials sector (chemicals, manufacturing, aerospace and defense).
- Familiarity with media monitoring tools like Factiva, Cision, Brandwatch, or Talkwalker.
- Knowledge of the Associated Press Stylebook.
