Engineering Manager (Fintech/iGaming)

What you will do

• Direct and own the delivery of several backend products.
• Manage team leads and senior engineers through 1:1 sessions, feedback cycles, and individual development plans.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding processes to hire and grow engineering talent.
• Oversee agile processes and Scrum or Kanban ceremonies to ensure consistent delivery.
• Identify technical debt and architectural gaps to improve platform and product quality.
• Define and enforce engineering standards and guidelines across the organization.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional backend development experience.
• 5+ years of experience managing engineers and team leads.
• Expertise in Kubernetes, containers, cloud-based development, and distributed systems.
• Proven experience building and maintaining high-load systems.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD practices.
• Fluency in English and a degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js.
