What you will do

• Maximize equipment availability and reliability through efficient repairs and maintenance of Optical Fabrication equipment.
• Collaborate with management and technicians to establish and complete priority activities and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain shift continuity by accurately documenting and communicating irregularities, actions, and statuses.
• Support continuous improvement of equipment and the overall maintenance program.
• Manage inventory and implement 5S LEAN standards within the production environment.

Requirements

• 3+ years in electro-mechanical/mechatronics with an Associate degree, Technical/Automotive Certification, or Military Technical training (OR 6+ years of relevant experience).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without employer sponsorship.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, including wearing a full bunny suit and PPE.
• Physical ability to stand, sit, kneel, bend, and handle parts weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook 365.

Nice to have

• Experience with Thin Films Hi-Vac and related manufacturing equipment.
• Control systems integration experience.
• Background in LEAN manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
