Manufacturing Engineer

What you will do

• Provide manufacturing engineering support to plant departments and troubleshoot production issues on the floor.
• Ensure equipment performance, optimize preventative maintenance, and analyze operating data against design parameters.
• Consult with maintenance teams, participate in hirify.global Production Systems activities like Kaizen and OEE.
• Manage facility engineering projects, coordinate subcontractors, and lead equipment installations and upgrades.
• Handle compliance for material handling devices, create process documentation, and research product improvements.
• Coordinate asset tagging and develop standards for major maintenance overhauls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 3-5 years experience in manufacturing engineering and equipment maintenance (automotive preferred).
• Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, CAD software, and Manufacturing Production Systems.
• SAP experience preferred.
