What you will do
- Research and design mechanical/electromechanical products and systems like engines, robots, controls, and thermal/hydraulic systems.
- Direct engineering personnel in fabrication, testing, installation, and ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Supervise 2-10 technical support employees and coordinate maintenance/repair for optimal machine utilization.
- Perform root cause/failure analysis, review PM systems, and develop standardized repair procedures.
- Source parts, evaluate field installations, recommend design modifications, and use CAD for new/modified parts.
- Participate in project management, task teams, and daily repairs as needed; assist with SAP issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology.
- 2+ years related experience.
- Knowledge of industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC controls, robotics, blueprint interpretation, and precision measurement.
- US work authorization without sponsorship.
