What you will do

• Develop detailed validation documentation including package performance protocols, process validations, and accelerated aging studies compliant with industry regulations.
• Prepare and improve specifications for packaging systems for better understanding and compliance.
• Provide technical support for in-house thermal transfer labeling systems, bar-coding, and direct part marking.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Marketing, QA, and Regulatory teams.
• Design and implement new tooling and fixtures for packaging operations.
• Analyze test results, solve technical problems, and train production operators on new equipment and processes.

Requirements

• B.S. in Packaging Engineering or related technical degree.
• 3+ years package engineering experience in medical device industry.
• Knowledge of packaging materials like Tyvek, thermoformed trays, films, paperboard, and sterilization impacts.
• Experience with ISO 11607-1&2, ASTM D4169, ISTA, FED-X, package integrity tests.
• Knowledge of statistical applications and GS1 bar-coding standards in healthcare labeling.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
