Electrification Value Chain Manager (Engineering)

Electrification Value Chain Manager (Engineering): Designing and executing end-to-end value chains for electrified mining solutions with an accent on customer-back strategies, capacity planning, and supplier integration. Focus on scaling Cat® Dynamic Energy Transfer technology, optimizing manufacturing processes, and managing high-voltage industrial system deployments.

Location: On-site in Tucson, AZ (5 days a week)

What you will do

• Lead and develop value chain engineering teams, focusing on staffing, coaching, and performance management.
• Design and optimize end-to-end electrification value chains based on customer and dealer requirements.
• Manage value chain risk and resilience planning to mitigate disruptions.
• Translate product roadmaps and demand signals into production and capacity plans.
• Develop business cases for value chain investments and strategic trade-offs.
• Collaborate with logistics, operations, and suppliers to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Tucson, AZ.
• Sponsorship is not available.
• Experience with Customer-Back Value Chain Design and Order-to-Delivery systems.
• Knowledge of industrial engineering principles in heavy equipment or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.

Nice to have

• Experience with electric drive systems, battery-electric equipment, or high-voltage industrial systems.
• Track record of leading new technology industrialization.
