What you will do
- Hold a caseload of young people at risk, delivering 1-to-1 targeted casework to reduce exploitation risks and build confidence.
- Manage and motivate a team of Targeted Youth Support Practitioners and Youth Support Workers.
- Deliver open access, targeted youth work sessions, detached outreach in hotspots, and programs from MyPlace Centre and community venues.
- Coordinate Children in Care Youth Club, Youth Parliament, SEND provision, trips, and activities.
- Build partnerships with Children's Services, Education, Voluntary Sector, Housing, schools, and external agencies.
Requirements
- Significant experience working with young people, understanding issues impacting their lives.
- Experience managing and motivating a team.
- Ability to develop relationships with staff from other teams, departments, external agencies, schools.
- Understanding of contextual safeguarding and risks of extra-familial harm.
- Passion for co-production with young people to design services.
- Prepared for evening and weekend work.
