Media Researcher FTC 6 Months: Overseeing end-to-end digitisation of legacy hirify.global News tapes from 1989 with an accent on QC'ing content and providing ad-hoc ingest for News, Sport and Entertainment. Focus on troubleshooting technical issues, liaising with researchers to tight deadlines and delivering daily reports.

Onsite at Osterley headquarters, London (5 days a week, 12-hour shift work on seven-day fortnight basis)

What you will do

• Oversee end-to-end digitisation of legacy News tapes in the Media Ingest Centre.
• QC content and provide quick turnaround ad-hoc ingest for News, Sport and Entertainment.
• Liaise with Media Researchers across teams to meet tight deadlines.
• Provide daily reports, identify failures and technical issues.
• Troubleshoot and isolate issues, escalating to relevant teams.

Requirements

• Interest in News, attention to detail and technical know-how.
• Self-motivated with ability to work to deadlines.
• Enquiring mind, hands-on troubleshooting abilities and great communication skills.
• Results-driven with strong work ethic, working to targets and excellent analytical qualities.
