hirify.global is a social impact marketplace dedicated to reducing food waste by connecting consumers with surplus food from retailers and hospitality businesses.

What you will do

  • Lead, develop, and inspire a team of approximately 9 FTEs, including Sales Representatives and Account Managers.
  • Own the entire partner acquisition funnel, from lead generation to conversion via phone-based outreach.
  • Develop strategic growth levers and translate them into actionable goals to increase market penetration in Portugal.
  • Establish and maintain a performance-driven, metrics-based sales culture focused on operational excellence.
  • Manage the retention and commercial output of existing Independent Partner accounts.
  • Collaborate with the Country Director and global teams to localize best practices and drive sustainable growth.

Requirements

  • Deep experience leading and scaling high-performing Sales/Commercial teams in Portugal.
  • Proven track record in acquiring and growing Restaurant or Food Retail accounts.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, KPI-driven global marketplace or platform business environment.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and proficiency in English are required.
  • Confidence with data, numbers, and sales tools, ideally Salesforce.
  • Must be based in or able to work from Lisbon, Portugal.
