What you will do

• Calibrate all laboratory equipment daily to ensure testing accuracy.
• Analyze incoming waste samples and record results in hard copy and computer systems.
• Conduct bench treatability studies on new and existing waste loads.
• Maintain and operate specialized lab equipment, including GC, ICP, FOG, and Flash testing.
• Maintain a clean and orderly laboratory environment.
• Communicate with department personnel and regulatory representatives regarding waste compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Niagara Falls, NY.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work from heights or in confined spaces.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of relevant laboratory experience.
