What you will do

• Interpret construction plans and Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans to document compliance with environmental laws.
• Prepare training materials and present to contractors; attend preconstruction and progress meetings.
• Collect, record, and manage corrective actions and inspections for multiple sites.
• Coordinate with project teams and site managers to resolve compliance issues.
• Travel across region with overnight stays and weekend work as needed; apply safety protocols in field.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; associate/bachelor's in environmental science/engineering preferred.
• 2-5 years experience in stormwater inspections, environmental compliance, or construction quality control preferred.
• Proficient with inspection tools, tablets, mobile apps, GPS/mapping technology.
• Strong communication for coordinating with contractors, engineers, regulators.
• Ability to work weekends, >40 hours/week in peak season; detail-oriented report writing.
• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, pass drug/alcohol screening.
