Location: Nottingham, UK – 5 days in office. Visa sponsorship available (fast-track process).

Salary: $60,000 – $110,000

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Java/Spring-based backend systems.
• Architect and structure efficient, scalable relational databases.
• Build APIs and integrations for responsive web applications.
• Collaborate with frontend developers on seamless feature delivery.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and improve existing applications.
• Contribute to overall architecture; senior role acts as No.2 to Head of Engineering.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Java and Spring framework.
• Solid understanding of relational database design and structure.
• Knowledge of modern software architecture patterns and best practices.
• Experience in fullstack development.
• For senior role: proven track record of leading or mentoring juniors.
