What you will do

• Lead complex, vaguely-defined projects and drive technical design end-to-end.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead communities of practice to foster shared learning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technology stacks with business outcomes.
• Advocate for software design best practices and operational excellence, including SLAs, resiliency, and scalability.
• Contribute to the engineering community through blog posts, tech talks, and open source contributions.
• Research and recommend architectural patterns and frameworks to improve code quality.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience for Bachelor's degree holders or 6+ years for Master's degree holders.
• Proven track record of driving technical design for at least 3 end-to-end projects.
• Experience formally mentoring at least 3 individuals.
• Experience working in decentralized teams on multi-quarter projects.
• Strong proficiency in multiple technologies or languages.
• Must be based in or able to work from London, UK (Hybrid)
