What you will do

• Own key company-level problem statements and drive critical projects including scoping, technical requirements, and implementation
• Architect and implement complex features with data-driven decision making and performance optimizations
• Collaborate with engineering teams in San Francisco and globally, plus cross-functional partners (PM, Design, Data, TPM)
• Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and foster knowledge sharing
• Define and improve coding standards, development processes, and best practices
• Grow knowledge of leading practices in workflow orchestration systems

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in hands-on software engineering role in backend/full-stack development
• Considerable experience working in Java and/or Kotlin
• Demonstrated expertise in backend systems within large-scale service-oriented architectures
• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in CS or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and ability to drive alignment with stakeholders
• Passion for efficiency, availability, technical quality, and system quality
