What you will do

• Lead the design, deployment, and operation of large-scale network infrastructure across data centers and cloud environments.
• Manage critical network systems to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Drive architecture decisions regarding routing, switching, and overlay networking, including VXLAN and EVPN.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex, cross-layer network issues impacting production systems.
• Develop automation and tooling to improve reliability, observability, and operational efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers and establish network design standards and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8–10+ years of network engineering experience in large-scale environments such as ISPs or cloud providers.
• Deep expertise in core protocols: BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6.
• Proven experience owning and operating critical production network infrastructure.
• Must be based in the US.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-performance networking technologies like InfiniBand or RoCE.
• Strong knowledge of modern data center architectures, VXLAN, and EVPN.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting using Python or equivalent.
• Familiarity with network modeling and programmability (YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF).
• Experience with hybrid infrastructure and cloud networking environments.
