What you will do

• Maintain and update risk registers in alignment with the organization’s risk appetite.
• Develop and monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and internal controls.
• Lead and coordinate risk assessments and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Prepare risk reports and dashboards for senior leadership and governance forums.
• Coordinate a network of risk champions to embed a proactive risk culture across business units.
• Investigate risk events and oversee resolution to capture and apply lessons learned.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in risk management, operational risk, or ERM, ideally in fintech or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of risk frameworks and regulatory requirements under FCA (UK) and DORA (EU).
• Experience with risk reporting tools, dashboards, and data analysis.
• Relevant professional qualifications in risk, compliance, or financial services (e.g., IRM, ARM).

Nice to have

• Experience working with the NBB (Belgium).
• Exposure to embedded finance models and e-money related risks.
