TL;DR

Salary: $99,000 to $135,000 base + discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do
- Collaborate with business teams to elicit, analyze, and document API and integration requirements across firm initiatives.
- Define API specifications including request/response structures, payload formats, system interactions, and data mappings.
- Support API design and lifecycle management, working with architects and developers to align with Digital Client Onboarding standards.
- Ensure API implementations meet Operations and Compliance requirements.
- Facilitate collaboration with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, developers, and product owners.
- Apply continuous improvement to eliminate ineffective processes and gain efficiencies.
Requirements
- Current work authorization for Canada required.
- University degree preferably in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience.
- More than 3 years in business systems analyst role in Brokerage Securities Industry or Financial services.
- Experience in requirement gathering, use cases development, and API integration.
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling; familiarity with SoapUI, Postman, XSD, JIRA, Confluence.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and Agile experience on self-managed teams.
Nice to have
- Understanding of Financial Products in Securities Industry and Wealth Management.
- Programming in Python or Java; knowledge of cloud computing and cybersecurity.
- Data analysis with visualization tools like Tableau.
