What you will do

• Develop and deliver regional sales and business development strategies for revenue growth and customer acquisition across Japan.
• Build and manage relationships with enterprise clients, partners, and key players in the local payments and fintech ecosystem.
• Identify new opportunities using market knowledge and industry connections to accelerate commercial traction.
• Position payment and fintech solutions to meet customer needs through value-driven sales conversations, proposals, and presentations.
• Negotiate commercial terms, close deals, and collaborate with Product, Operations, Compliance, and Client Services teams.
• Track pipeline activity, client feedback, competitor movements, and market developments.

Requirements

• 4+ years in business development, sales, partnerships, or growth roles within payments, fintech, or financial services.
• Track record of selling complex solutions to enterprise clients.
• Understanding of cross-border payments, digital financial products, or related infrastructure.
• Fluent Mandarin and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Solid knowledge of regulatory and commercial landscape in Japan/China payments.
• Established network with merchants, payment providers, financial institutions, and fintech partners.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills; degree in Business, Finance, or related.
