DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes/Azure): Running and improving the DevOps function within hirify.global’s Global Data Platform with an accent on reliability, scalability, and the enablement of data pipelines at scale. Focus on optimizing Kubernetes-based orchestration platforms, developing Python-based services, and improving CI/CD pipelines for Apache Airflow workflows.

Location: Hybrid in Utrecht, Netherlands

Salary: €4,931 - €7,043 per month

What you will do

  • Operate and optimize a Kubernetes-based orchestration platform to ensure stability, security, and performance.
  • Develop Python-based services and integrations to extend scheduling and orchestration tooling.
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines to enable faster deployment of data workflows.
  • Automate monitoring and incident response to strengthen platform stability.
  • Collaborate in on-call rotations to ensure continuity and timely incident resolution across platforms.
  • Extend reusable tooling and documentation to enhance the overall developer experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a DevOps or platform engineering role.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Python in production environments, combined with Bash or PowerShell.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with Kubernetes (preferably AKS) and Azure services.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Customer-focused approach and proactive attitude.
  • Ability to give and receive feedback.
