What you will do

• Guide the DevOps team in setting priorities, assigning work, and ensuring smooth delivery.
• Lead architectural improvements following Azure migration, focusing on performance and cost optimization.
• Manage and evolve Kubernetes-based infrastructure and RabbitMQ messaging systems for stability and scalability.
• Utilize observability tools like Grafana and ElasticSearch to monitor system behavior and drive improvements.
• Design and refine CI/CD pipelines using Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Collaborate with Microsoft to align on technical best practices and resolve infrastructure issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (HBO) in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in a DevOps or cloud infrastructure-focused role.
• Production experience with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Proficiency with monitoring and alerting tools such as Grafana and ElasticSearch.
• Experience managing deployments via Azure Pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Must be based within commuting distance of Leiden, Netherlands.
