TL;DR

Senior SRE (Kubernetes): Contribute to architecture, design, standards, and implementation of observability systems enhancing reliability, efficiency, and scalability with a high level of autonomy. Focus on scaling mission-critical systems to 99.95% SLOs, managing observability tools, incident management, and on-call rotation.

Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands (hybrid: 2 days/week in office, 3 days flexible home/office)

What you will do

• Contribute to architecture, design, standards, and implementation of observability systems for reliability, efficiency, and scalability.
• Manage existing observability tools and support customers in mastering them.
• Scale systems and ensure reliability in diverse environments meeting 99.95% SLOs.
• Participate in on-call rotation with sustainable schedule and participate in incident management to improve MTTR.
• Support global navigation tooling.

Requirements

• At least 2 years in SRE/Platform/Infra with cloud-native infrastructure including Kubernetes on public cloud.
• Experience managing observability tools for logs, metrics, traces, black box monitoring, and alerting.
• Proficiency in Python or similar for coding/infrastructure.
• GitOps, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes tooling (Helm/Operators/CRDs a plus).
• SRE best practices, observability, incident management, SLIs; cloud-native architecture (CNCF).
• Fundamentals in Linux, containers, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS), distributed systems; security/privacy/compliance essentials.

Nice to have

• CI/CD technologies (GitHub, pipelines, secrets, artifacts).
• OpenTelemetry experience.
• BSc in computer engineering or equivalent.
• Customer support experience.
