Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + benefits

What you will do

• Design and build scalable full-stack applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Lead the migration from legacy PHP systems to a modern JavaScript/TypeScript stack.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS (EKS, S3, DynamoDB) using Terraform (IaC).
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to enable efficient delivery.
• Contribute to AI-enabled software development, including AI-assisted coding, testing, and feature delivery.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, promoting best practices and engineering excellence.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience in full-stack development with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure as code (Terraform preferred).
• Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Leeds for a hybrid schedule (2 days per week on-site).
• Ability to mentor other engineers and contribute to a high-performing culture.
• Exposure to or strong interest in AI/ML integration or AI-assisted development.
