What you will do

• Build high-performance user experiences for hirify.global Planning and Tracking that enable millions of users to collaborate effectively.
• Develop and maintain the codebase primarily using JavaScript (React, TypeScript) and Ruby (Rails).
• Write architecture briefs and proposals, conduct code experiments, and build prototypes to achieve planetary scale.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership to implement technical roadmaps and prioritize investments.
• Coordinate with product leads to define and task projects that align with business objectives.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and code reviews to foster growth across the distributed team.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United Kingdom.
• 6+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering (or equivalent based on academic degree).
• Proven experience maintaining and delivering production software in languages such as Ruby, JavaScript, Go, Java, or Python.
• Ability to work across the full stack with a strong tilt towards frontend development.

Nice to have

• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
• Experience with cloud environments and Cloud Native Compute Foundation (CNCF) concepts.
