What you will do

• Develop detailed financial models to value companies and investments.
• Analyze historical and projected financial information using Microsoft Excel.
• Leverage Capital IQ and Bloomberg to extract and organize large financial and market data sets.
• Research and evaluate competitive advantages and disadvantages of clients within their respective industries.
• Apply and maintain a solid understanding of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements for investors and corporations.
• Collaborate with senior management and participate in business development activities and client presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field of study.
• 1-2 years of prior valuation experience, preferably with an accounting or national valuation firm.
• Legal right to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.
• Strong financial modeling skills and technical valuation competencies.
• Exceptional attention to detail and professional report writing skills.
