Location: Belgium; hybrid work with up to 70% from home and a flex abroad program allowing up to 45 days abroad.

What you will do
- Design and build scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Spark.
- Implement data transformation patterns with PySpark and SQL.
- Apply lakehouse and Delta Lake patterns for reliable data processing.
- Optimize the performance, stability, and cost of Databricks workloads.
- Collaborate with data architects, analytics consultants, engineering teams, and client teams on platform design.
- Ensure data availability and quality for analytics, AI, and advanced use cases.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience as a data engineer working with Databricks.
- Production experience with Spark and PySpark.
- Strong knowledge of Databricks lakehouse concepts and Delta Lake.
- Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
- Professional working proficiency in English and Dutch is required.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of French.
