Applied Machine Learning Engineer (IoT)

Location: Hybrid work between remote work and the Airpower site in Antwerp, Belgium

What you will do

• Analyze vibration, temperature, pressure, and operational data using time-domain and frequency-domain techniques.
• Develop machine learning models for anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, classification, clustering, and forecasting.
• Build and enhance models for energy efficiency, performance optimization, and smart maintenance across connected products.
• Integrate, validate, and deploy optimization algorithms within the Smart Events engine and SMARTLINK AI connectivity platform.
• Work end to end across physical equipment, controllers, connectivity systems, generated insights, and customer value.
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and operations to shape product roadmaps and deliver solutions for customer and business needs.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering, electronics, computer science, or an equivalent field.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, Databricks, Pandas, Scikit-learn, and MLflow.
• Hands-on experience with, or strong interest in, signal processing and machine learning applied to sensor data.
• Strong interest in mechanical systems such as compressors, dryers, and chillers.
• Ability to collaborate in diverse international teams and across functions.
• Availability to work in a hybrid arrangement involving the Airpower site in Antwerp, Belgium.
