What you will do
- Design and simulate radar and microwave instruments and prepare subsystem specifications.
- Provide independent technical assessments for project-level and customer system reviews.
- Act as a technical manager for procurement contracts with radar and microwave equipment suppliers.
- Support satellite projects during subsystem construction, integration, and testing.
- Plan, coordinate, and control subsystem verification activities.
- Prepare reports and presentation materials for project management.
Requirements
- University degree in telecommunications engineering, RF/microwave engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of professional experience, preferably within the space industry.
- In-depth knowledge of microwave/radar systems, constitutive building blocks, and signal processing concepts.
- Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- Effective team working, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written German and English.
