Systems Engineer (Navigation)

What you will do

• Provide technical support for embedded software activities, including review and verification of software deliverables.
• Conduct functional verification and validation at spacecraft, subsystem, and unit levels.
• Manage software integration, onboard software interactions, and support anomaly investigations.
• Act as the primary software technical focal point for system, AIT, PA, customer, and supplier teams.
• Participate in project reviews and configuration control processes.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
• Experience in satellite projects, ideally in subsystem or system engineering (phases C/D/E).
• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Understanding of modern software engineering methods, including model-based systems engineering and agile approaches.
• English: B2+ required (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively within a team.

Nice to have

• German language skills.
• Experience with code generation principles and tools.
