What you will do

• Enable international expansion and market entry outside the US, specifically for the Global Public Sector team.
• Draft and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including Sovereign AI deals, master services agreements, and bespoke software development contracts.
• Lead and manage complex public tenders as a prime contractor, subcontractor, or consortium partner.
• Provide legal counsel on privacy and emerging AI regulatory requirements.
• Design and iterate on policies and processes to effectively manage legal and business risks.
• Collaborate across functions and geographies to deliver proactive legal solutions.

Requirements

• UK, common law, or EU legal qualification.
• 7+ years PQE in the technology sector across leading law firms, in-house, or government.
• Extensive experience negotiating complex SaaS and bespoke software development agreements.
• Proven experience with government engagements and public procurement processes.
• Strong commercial and IP legal skills combined with familiarity with EU law.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-specific legal issues and emerging regulatory requirements.
• Privacy counseling and regulatory compliance expertise.
• Experience working with GCC-based governments and enterprises.
• Proficiency in Arabic.
