TL;DR

(Senior) RF Engineer Test & Validation (RF/mmWave): Contribute to product development and innovation projects for automotive radar, robotics, and 6G communications with an accent on high-frequency technologies ≥100 GHz. Focus on conceptualizing automated RF test solutions, performing system-level simulations, and characterizing RF components.

What you will do

• Contribute to RF product development including concept development, feasibility studies, prototyping, simulation, and validation.
• Design and implement automated RF and communications test solutions with software-controlled environments.
• Develop test specifications, plans, and instructions; analyze and troubleshoot test issues.
• Perform system-level RF simulations, electro-magnetic full-wave simulations, and data post-processing.
• Design, prototype, and build RF demonstrators for mmWave and sub-THz applications.
• Collaborate with international partners, mentor students, and ensure compliance with ISO9001/IATF16949 standards.

Requirements

• Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
• Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Physics, or comparable.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in RF engineering.
• Deep understanding of RF, communications, and radar test methods and measurement techniques.
• Proficiency in RF/mmWave simulation tools like Keysight SystemVue and HFSS; hands-on with Python, MATLAB.
• Willing to travel internationally (~2-8 weeks/year); strong collaboration and project management skills.
