What you will do

• Define serviceability and repairability requirements for new audio products.
• Influence product architecture through service-focused design reviews.
• Translate service needs into requirements and acceptance criteria using PLM tools.
• Plan and execute service verification across EVT, DVT, and MVT builds.
• Draft SOWs, procure test equipment, and approve test software.
• Develop technical content for service manuals, troubleshooting guides, and training materials.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in service, NPI, or test engineering within the consumer electronics sector.
• Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Hands-on experience with test instrumentation.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• Must be based in or able to work from Hannover, Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience with audio test systems (APx, GRAS/B&K, IEC ear simulators).
• Knowledge of Bluetooth/BLE, Wi-Fi, USB-C, DSP/ANC, and OTA workflows.
• Professional background in consumer audio.
• Proficiency in German.
