What you will do

• Set up, align, and operate optical and opto-electronic experimental setups.
• Conduct precise measurements including beam characterization, interferometry, and spectroscopy.
• Document, evaluate, and interpret measurement results for system optimization.
• Support the development and validation of complex optical systems.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Collaborate closely with development engineering teams on experimental plans.

Requirements

• Training as a Physical-Technical Assistant (PTA/CTA) or a Bachelor's degree in physics or engineering.
• Solid knowledge of optical measurement techniques and hands-on lab experience.
• Proficiency in data analysis software such as LabVIEW or Python.
• Good German language skills.
• English proficiency (ideally).
• Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
