Senior Frontend Engineer (React)

TL;DR

Senior Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript/GraphQL): Building and maintaining first-class user experience for internal monorepo applications with an accent on reusable, reliable, testable code and shared front-end patterns. Focus on designing complex components, optimizing performance and accessibility, code reviews, mentoring, and improving architecture and processes.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain outstanding, reusable, reliable, and testable TypeScript code for internal tools used by numerous businesses.
• Review colleagues' work, mentor others, provide feedback, and continuously improve skills.
• Improve team processes, brainstorm ideas, communicate statuses, and suggest usability improvements to stakeholders.
• Proactively identify technical debt, product areas needing attention, and propose technology stack improvements.
• Lead product, technical, or cultural initiatives with autonomy in a new team exploring various directions.
• Contribute to planning, development, multi-sprint initiatives, and codebase improvements over first year.

Requirements

• 5+ years of front-end web development experience.
• Proficiency with React, Apollo GraphQL, TypeScript, and Jest.
• Experience building reliable internal tools, maintainable code, and collaborating on shared front-end patterns.
• Grasp of functional programming, clean code, best testing practices, and software design patterns.
• Product-minded with focus on solving business problems, delivering user value, and outstanding communication skills.
• Team player able to work autonomously in fast-paced environment, handling challenges and deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with Next.js, monorepo, and Progressive Web Apps.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails or other non-frontend programming languages and stacks.
