What you will do

• Own end-to-end technical architecture using Next.js frontend, headless CMS, AI search, Cloudflare edge, and Azure hosting.
• Write production code daily, conduct code reviews, and set codebase patterns for the team.
• Define API contracts to enable parallel team development and resolve technical disagreements under pressure.
• Collaborate with designers on UI/UX implementation for animations, responsiveness, and consumer product feel.
• Integrate AI/ML features like LLM APIs, streaming responses, and RAG into the frontend.
• Drive Core Web Vitals performance, security, and fast shipments for high-visibility launches.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years software engineering experience, including 2+ years as technical lead on product teams
• 2+ years people management experience
• Experienced with US government contracting requirements
• Deep expertise in React, Next.js (App Router), TypeScript, modern CSS (Tailwind), responsive mobile-first development.
• Experience with headless CMS APIs (WordPress, Drupal, Contentful), cloud platforms (Azure preferred), edge/CDN (Cloudflare).
• Hands-on AI/ML integration in web apps, shipping consumer-facing products at scale, leading high-visibility launches.
• Strong communication for non-technical stakeholders.
