TL;DR

Location: Hybrid in Sant Joan Despí, Spain (3 days remote)

What you will do

  • Resolve application-level incidents, problems, and service requests across multiple platforms to ensure SLA compliance.
  • Perform in-depth technical analysis and troubleshooting using logs, databases, and monitoring tools.
  • Restore application services following alerts from monitoring platforms and perform operational activities in production environments.
  • Configure and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts in Splunk and Thruk to identify and close monitoring gaps.
  • Train and provide day-to-day guidance to L1 support engineers to improve first contact resolution.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Database, and IT Stack engineers to track and validate software defects via JIRA.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in application support and production operations.
  • Advanced operational knowledge of Linux operating systems.
  • Proficiency in log analysis and troubleshooting of distributed applications.
  • Database knowledge (SQL/NoSQL), with Oracle or Couchbase being a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, ITSI, Thruk, or Nagios.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of ITIL-based service management processes and ServiceNow (SNOW).
  • Experience with mobile, telecom, SaaS, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Automation and process optimization mindset for recurring support duties.
  • Project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
