What you will do

• Write high-quality, maintainable code and release production-ready features.
• Develop and improve the scalability and reliability of the PostgreSQL service.
• Automate internal processes to eliminate repetitive manual work.
• Participate in technical planning, backlog management, and PR reviews.
• Investigate and resolve complex customer issues.
• Mentor and empower other engineers on the team.

Requirements

• Solid development skills in Python.
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MariaDB, SQL Server, or OracleDB.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and Linux OS.
• Experience with backup solutions, strategies, and automated testing.
• Proven track record of resolving security vulnerabilities and improving performance.
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required.

Nice to have

• Experience in cloud DBaaS production environments.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong understanding of software and networking security.
