What you will do

• Design, build, and characterize inductors and transformers using soft magnetic materials across target applications.
• Develop test and validation infrastructure to benchmark components against incumbent materials.
• Produce customer-ready data to support the commercialization effort.
• Collaborate directly with customers and applications engineers on power converter designs.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience designing and characterizing magnetic components (inductors, transformers) for high-frequency power electronics.
• Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, magnetic materials properties, and winding techniques.
• Expertise in core selection, winding design, conductor selection, loss modeling, and loss characterization.
• Proficiency with finite element analysis tools such as Ansys or Comsol.
• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Nice to have

• Customer-facing or applications engineering experience in B2B power electronics.
• Experience with magnetics for EV powertrains, data center power supplies, or renewable energy inverters.
