What you will do

• Perform set-ups for production and prototype parts.
• Specify electrode size and configuration and determine EDM operation sequences.
• Verify set-ups to meet operation sheet and engineering drawing requirements.
• Utilize inspection equipment to maintain very close tolerances.
• Train and monitor the work of EDM Operators.
• Operate surface grinders within the department to regrind electrodes.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a diversified machinist.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to enroll and participate in the F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program.
• Must have authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer instructions in English.
