What you will do

• Act as a strategic advisor to Sales leadership, translating complex commercial challenges into scalable analytical solutions and decision support.
• Deliver executive-ready, story-driven insights to communicate trends and recommend actions to improve revenue and execution.
• Design, develop, and evolve decision-oriented dashboards embedded into core Sales rhythms using Tableau and Power BI.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, partnering with BI and IT teams to influence data models and analytics architecture.
• Pilot and adopt AI-enabled analytics use cases to enhance insight generation, forecasting, and decision support.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to automate, standardize, and scale analytics processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive experience in sales analytics, business intelligence, or commercial performance roles.
• Advanced SQL expertise (Microsoft SQL Server or equivalent).
• Advanced proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or comparable BI platforms.
• Strong command of statistical analysis, analytical reasoning, and quantitative methods.
• Must be based in San Diego, CA, United States.

Nice to have

• MBA or an advanced degree.
• Experience in medical devices, healthcare, regulated industries, or high-tech environments.
• Exposure to Python for exploratory analysis and automation.
• Familiarity with modern cloud analytics stacks, including Snowflake and DBT.
