What you will do

• Own the technical foundation by architecting and building fully custom WordPress themes, plugins, and ACF-driven structures
• Engineer sites for speed, scalability, strong Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO including structured data
• Handle server environments, deployments, DNS, CDN (Cloudflare), SMTP, and hosting configurations
• Integrate APIs, third-party systems, GA4, and GTM while ensuring data integrity
• Work with Shopify and BigCommerce at code level when needed and debug full-stack issues
• Collaborate closely with SEO, Content, and Digital PR teams for strong technical execution

Requirements

• 5+ years of web development experience in agency or performance-driven environments
• Deep expertise in PHP including WordPress core-level development
• Strong JavaScript with modern frameworks and tooling
• Working knowledge of Python for automation, scraping, and tooling
• Proven experience building custom WordPress websites from scratch
• Strong understanding of technical SEO and ability to solve full-stack issues independently

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale or SEO-heavy websites, schema, structured data, programmatic SEO
• CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, Docker, log analysis, security hardening
• Multi-site or multi-location SEO builds
