Forward Deployed Engineer (AI)

Location: Brazil; hybrid work arrangement.

Builds, tests, deploys, and monitors AI agents for complex enterprise workflows across voice, chat, email, and back-office systems.

What you will do

• Embed with customers to understand workflows, constraints, and success metrics.
• Translate ambiguous operational problems into technical plans and production systems.
• Design and build AI agents integrating with customer tools, data, APIs, and business processes.
• Own deployments from prototyping through launch, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Test solutions with real-world data, measure business outcomes, and iterate based on evidence.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to improve the core platform and create reusable tools and practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building software or solving complex technical problems.
• Strong foundations in software architecture, system design, and production engineering.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, data flows, and distributed systems.
• Ability to structure ambiguous problems and work directly with operational and technical customer stakeholders.
• Clear communication, sound judgment, ownership, and curiosity about applied AI.

Nice to have

• Experience in forward-deployed engineering, solutions engineering, consulting, or customer-facing technical roles.
• Experience building AI agents, workflow automation, or conversational systems.
• Familiarity with LLM evaluation, observability, and production reliability.
• Experience deploying and improving systems in complex enterprise environments.
