Salary: $108,220 - $162,100 per annum

What you will do

• Architect and develop FPGA logic, integrating common code blocks into designs.
• Simulate FPGA design solutions and achieve timing closure.
• Validate designs and debug board problems with a focus on FPGA debug levels.
• Collaborate with internal firmware/software teams on implementing system-level diagnostics.
• Bring up and test prototypes, developing and implementing comprehensive test plans.
• Lead lab debug of HW/FPGA problems and contribute to formal design processes and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred) with 5+ years of experience in data communication systems.
• Proficiency in FPGA architecture, design, modelling, simulation, and verification.
• Expertise in Verilog; experience with SystemVerilog and VHDL is a plus.
• Proficiency with FPGA design tools such as Vivado and simulation/verification tools.
• Experience with communication buses (I2C, I3C, SPI, MDIO, PMBUS) and parallel interfaces (APB, AXI).
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws (EAR).

Nice to have

• Proficiency in CAD design tools such as Cadence, Concept, and Allegro.
• Knowledge of circuit design and layout techniques, including analog, digital, and microcontroller technologies.
• Experience with scripting using shell, TCL, or Python.
