What you will do

• Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans to validate CPU logic against specifications.
• Create scalable verification environments, including UVM-based testbenches and functional coverage models.
• Perform system-level simulations and functional coverage analysis to identify and close verification gaps.
• Debug and root-cause issues in pre-silicon environments and implement corrective measures.
• Collaborate with CPU architects, RTL designers, and physical design teams on complex architectural features.
• Build automation tools and scripts using Python, Perl, or C++ to optimize verification throughput.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or STEM with 1+ years of experience, or a Master's degree.
• 1+ years of experience with Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog and industry-standard simulation tools.
• 1+ years of experience developing reusable UVM-based testbenches.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl, and C++.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in the USA (Austin or Hillsboro).

Nice to have

• Knowledge of x86 architecture, hirify.global Architecture ISA, and assembly programming.
• Experience in both pre-silicon and post-silicon CPU verification and analysis.
• Familiarity with Synopsys VCS and version control systems like Git.
• Experience applying AI or advanced automation to accelerate validation timelines.
