What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of FPGA engineers, managing goals, priorities, and professional growth.
• Oversee a verification team and external partners to ensure quality and execution cadence.
• Develop FPGA designs for advanced power semiconductor test systems.
• Define FPGA requirements and architect scalable solutions in collaboration with hardware and software teams.
• Drive the full development lifecycle from IP selection and implementation to verification and release.
• Perform hands-on debugging and validation using logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in FPGA design, implementation, and verification.
• Strong proficiency in Verilog and experience with AMD (Xilinx) or Intel (Altera) toolchains.
• Proven experience with high-speed interfaces (PCIe, SerDes), memory (DDR), and protocols (AXI4, SPI, I2C).
• Experience building verification environments and testbenches.
• Ability to interpret schematics and validate functionality on hardware platforms.
• Must be local to North Reading, MA; no visa sponsorship provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with FPGA SoC devices and embedded processor subsystems.
• Proficiency in SystemVerilog or UVM-based verification.
• Scripting skills in TCL or Python.
