What you will do

• Assess and modernize AWS and Azure environments to improve performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with application teams to resolve security vulnerabilities and enhance monitoring and observability.
• Analyze cloud consumption and expenditures to implement FinOps principles and optimize spending.
• Govern external cloud operations partners, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and quality execution.
• Support identity management initiatives, security compliance, and cloud-related database work.
• Manage ongoing monitoring, reporting, and incident resolution across a multi-cloud footprint.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, primarily focused on AWS.
• Hands-on proficiency with Terraform, CI/CD pipeline frameworks, Entra ID, and IAM.
• Experience with cloud governance frameworks and FinOps (cost analysis and spend optimization).
• Proven track record of optimizing infrastructure in post-migration, lift-and-shift settings.
• Strong communication skills for engaging with application teams and third-party vendors.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

• AWS or Azure Solutions Architect certification.
