Location: Hybrid; must be based in Downers Grove, Illinois or Houston, Texas (spending at least four full days each week in the office)

Salary: $165,000 - $185,000

What you will do

• Design and deliver applied AI and automation solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability across enterprise platforms.
• Partner with technology and platform teams to deploy AI solutions into production environments.
• Collaborate with Information Security, Cloud Engineering, and Legal to ensure solutions are auditable, secure, and aligned with architecture standards.
• Apply responsible AI principles, focusing on transparency, bias awareness, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Define and track KPIs to evaluate AI performance, cost, and latency for production readiness.
• Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, communicating AI concepts, risks, and tradeoffs to non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Strong programming experience in Python and proficiency in SQL.
• Hands-on experience delivering generative AI solutions, including LLMs, RAG, and prompt strategies.
• Solid understanding of ML fundamentals, data preparation, and model evaluation.
• Experience with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AWS Strands Agents, or Google Gen AI SDK.
• Proven track record of deploying AI or advanced analytics solutions beyond the proof-of-concept stage.
• Must be based in the USA and able to comply with the 4-day-per-week in-office requirement.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks and cloud-native AI services like Amazon Bedrock.
• Experience operating within regulated or risk-sensitive industries.
