Network Engineer

TL;DR

Network Engineer: Design, implement, and support enterprise switching, routing, and SD-WAN infrastructure with an accent on perimeter security, VLAN design, and routing protocol optimization. Salary: $70,000 USD - $110,000 USD

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and enhance global networks for corporate, production, and guest environments.
• Manage Fortinet FortiGate and Cisco ASA/FTD firewalls, including policy administration.
• Handle DHCP, DNS services, and network infrastructure upgrades for switches, routers, and SD-WAN.
• Develop implementation plans, coordinate changes per ITIL, and work with service providers.
• Contribute to network automation using scripting tools and support disaster recovery.
• Conduct audits, track metrics, and share knowledge with the team; occasional off-hours work and travel.

Requirements

• 5-7 years as Network Engineer with strong Fortinet, Arista, and Cisco skills
• Experience with SD-WAN, VLAN/VXLAN, segmentation, EIGRP/BGP/OSPF, wireless networks.
• Fortinet firewall, VPN (IPsec/SSL), network monitoring tools, automation/scripting.
• ITIL, vendor management, standards development; Bachelor's in IT preferred or equivalent.
• FCA/CCNA minimum; FCP/CCNP preferred; no supervisory responsibilities.
