Senior Network Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Network Engineer (Networking): Design, deploy, and operate enterprise and mission-critical network infrastructure across offices, factories, data centers, and cloud environments with an accent on high-availability designs, security controls, and hybrid/cloud integration. Focus on configuring routing/switching protocols, firewalls, performance monitoring, and incident response to ensure reliability under scale.

Location: Los Angeles, CA (onsite). Must be a U.S. Person per ITAR regulations (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected individual).

Salary: $125,000 – $155,000 base + equity.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and operate network infrastructure across offices, factories, data centers, and cloud.
• Provide hands-on support for troubleshooting connectivity, performance, and availability issues.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, security controls, routing (BGP, OSPF), switching (VLANs), and high-availability designs.
• Support hybrid/cloud networking including VPNs and site-to-site connectivity.
• Monitor performance, contribute to incident response, root-cause analysis, and documentation.
• Promote best practices in change management and vendor relationships.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Networking Architecture, Design, Implementation, and Test Automation.
• Foundation in IT network methodology (analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, support).
• In-depth knowledge of protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, TCP/IP) and logical designs (L2/L3, VPC, VLANs).
• Experience with network control (QoS, DHCP), management (SNMP), and security protocols (IPSec, AAA).
• Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, ITIL preferred); Bachelor’s in CS/engineering or equivalent.
• U.S. Person status required for ITAR compliance.
